Throwback: When OC Activist Filed Lawsuit About YouTube Dislikes

In 2018, Kenneth Strawn filed a lawsuit that alleged that people who disliked his videos on YouTube trampled his rights as a US citizen. A conservative activist from Orange County, Strawn used to rant against Jewish people, African-Americans, unlawful immigrants and lesbians when supporting former President Donald Trump.

Strawn claimed that Charlottesville resident Simone Tartaglia made and used some sock puppet accounts on YouTube to dislike his videos. Therefore, he alleged that it violated his rights under the United States Constitution, including freedom of the media as his YouTube channel was used for purposes related to freelance journalism.

In the lawsuit submitted to the Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse, Strawn asserted that Tartaglia created the wrong impression that his videos had no support. As for Strawn, it was an offense to not just him but also the Constitution.

In May 2018, Strawn submitted his lawsuit without paying $400 as the required filing fee. Then, he wanted taxpayers to offer him a lawyer for free to seek compensation for whatever applicable reputational damages had been found by the appointed attorney.

Strawn once proposed that nobody should be permitted to enter the US as an immigrant unless they attend a church for five years at the least. He demanded that all fake dislikes to his lengthy and incoherent videos on YouTube be retracted and undone.

Strawn complained that his mother Wanda was thinking about sending him away from her house. His mother was regarded as a Republican In Name Only (RINO). Strawn argued that people like her were feeding off US taxpayers and that sex was just for the purpose of reproduction.

In a YouTube video, Strawn told women to not approach him with sexual intent before marrying him. Back in 2018, he had barely over 300 followers on YouTube.
